A Legacy of Local Giving
Since 1972, the Community Foundation of East Central Illinois has been the region’s permanent home for philanthropy — connecting generous people with the causes that matter most across Champaign, Coles, Douglas, Edgar, Ford, Iroquois, Moultrie, Piatt, and Vermilion counties. What began with $1,300 and a volunteer board has grown to more than $42 million in assets and over $28.8 million distributed to nonprofits, scholarships, and causes throughout the region.
